The Global Surgery Student Alliance is a registered student organization that serves as a system of support for students interested in global health and surgical care worldwide. Our organization focuses not only on global surgery, but also on professional development, including application guidance, certification pathways, and hands-on learning opportunities. We aim to familiarize members with global health careers, training requirements, and practical experiences while promoting education, advocacy, and equitable access to care. Through community, mentorship, and engagement, we strive to support our members as they navigate their academic and professional journeys together.
